The Cake



We have decided on the following flavors:

yellow cake-hazelnut w/chocolate mousse (top two tiers)
chocolate decadent- white chocolate (bottom tier)

and we are trying to get the pastry chef to agree to do the Damask design on the bottom cake or at least something very similar. 
 

I am going to make a small cake menu to display in a frame from ( guess where?!?) the dollar store and it will look similar to this:

Rehearsal Dinner

Pulled Pork BBQ with 2 Sauces
Coleslaw
Mashed Potatoe Bar (toppings to include: bacon, cheese, mushrooms, scallions, sour cream)
Hush puppies, Biscuits (buttermilk and Sweet potato), Rolls
Green beans
Pecan and Apple Pie with French Vanilla Ice Cream

Cocktail Hour

Blue Lump Crab Cakes with Remoulade Sauce
Mini Spring Rolls with Hoisin Dipping Sauce
Mushrooms Stuffed with Boursin Cheese
Assorted Fruit and Cheese platters
