The Venue- Great Seasons Fine Catering and Events
We are having our reception at a local catering company's reception hall.
Color Scheme and Decor
We had originally gone with just the chocolate and the burnt orange, but the caterer had some beautiful plates with a gold rim and I thought about doing gold candles in the centerpeices and the gold took off from there. It will probably be more Chocolate and Gold with burnt orange accents. I have also started adding brown damask accents as well since my ribbon has damask in it as does the invitation.
I wanted this to be a fall wedding but not overwhelming with leaves and acorns etc. I wanted a casual elegant fall feel. The colors and the food will have a fall feel and I am thinking that for our exit we will have old apple bushels with fall leaves for everyone to throw!

I found it hard to chose just one when I started searching....so I put all of these up. I like elements from all of them.
Sweetheart Table
Rich and I have decided we are going to do a Sweatheart table instead of a typical head table. I am really excited about decorating this. Below are some ideas I have compiled about how I want it to look. Below that are pics of stuff I have gotten together for the table.
We will be having Brown linens on the table with burnt orange napkins and ivory chine with a gold rim.
The LOVE sign will be painted gold (pic coming soon) and the votive candle holders will go to either side. ( They are really beautiful when lit up with the candles) and then the letter D will be painted all Orange and will hang from the LOVE sign with my brown damask ribbon. The letters R and S will be hung from the backs of the chairs but I dunno if I want to do it like the picture below or hang it from one side of either chair like you would your purse. I will decide after I get another look at the chairs.

I will have pics as soon as the candles arrive in the mail! Below is a mockup without the mirro or the table number or the votives and with red candles instead of ivory. There will be a square mirror with a 6 in ivory pillar candle inside the grapevine wreath, there will be 3 or 4 damask wellum votive holders around the main candle and then the mini pumpkin seed pods sprinkled around the table too.
